As a result of the benefits being received from advice
and services received by Brad Foster, I would highly
recommend using the services of Foster if you need help
making sense of natural gas or electricity purchasing.
Through Foster’s natural gas RFP process, we were
able to develop an “apples to apples” comparison
between potential natural gas suppliers while learning
a great deal about the nuances in supply offerings that
can dramatically impact the success of a natural gas
supply program, such as basis pricing, contract volume
variance pricing, and full requirements. We even found
out that “pool fees” can vary from supplier
to supplier. This caused us to be able to negotiate
a better arrangement with our incumbent supplier at
one plant location but caused us to make a change at
another. Foster even helped us work through a complicated
joint natural gas and electric power arrangement in
Ohio.
Additionally, Foster provided significant additional
value by educating us about the natural gas market and
how it works. We feel more informed and better positioned
to make sensible decisions as we move forward.
Overall, we are very pleased that we made the decision
to engage Foster.
