To Whom It May Concern:
When Foster LLC contacted me regarding the benefits
they could provide to
JLG Industries regarding natural gas supply, I wasn’t
certain that we could benefit from engaging an energy
consulting firm; but, as our natural gas costs exceed
$1 million annually, and Foster’s consulting fee
was reasonable, I saw little risk in hiring Foster to
see what, if any, savings could be found. I was very
pleased with the results.
Through Foster’s process, I learned that there
are significant differences between natural gas suppliers
from a pricing, service, and contractual perspective.
In fact, Foster identified roughly $20,000 in annual
savings from incremental volume purchases and liquidations
of natural gas when managing contract volume
variances. Now, through an improved natural gas supply
agreement, we will
lower our energy costs; and thanks to Foster’s
educative approach, I feel that I
have a better understanding of natural gas contracts,
which allows me to more efficiently manage energy costs
that affect our business.

regarding their natural
gas supply program.
